Meagan, originally from New Jersey, has been practicing yoga and meditation in some form since 2005 when she discovered how stress and anxiety melted away every time she showed up on her mat or cushion. She completed her 200-hour registered yoga teacher training in Hatha Yoga with the International Sivananda Vedanta Yoga Center at the Yoga Retreat in the Bahamas. Sivananda yoga focuses on the holistic health and well-being of all practitioners, and connects mind-body-spirit through a sequence of breathing exercises, physical postures, and deep relaxation. Meagan believes that yoga is for everybody, no matter shape, size, age, or physical abilities. She ensures that every position can be modified to meet one’s ability and needs, and offers alternatives for almost every posture. Meagan loves sharing the philosophy and practice of yoga on and off the mat, and hopes for everyone to find peace and balance in their lives through her classes.
